Guntur, December 3 (Commoditiescontrol) Red chilli prices were steady to firm in the major markets of Guntur and Warangal on Friday amid increased buying but limited arrivals. The demand exceeded supply which led firmer tone in several varieties of red chilli. However, Teja varieties witnessed weak demand due to non availability of deluxe quality.
Arrivals at Guntur market were 50000 bags while Warangal market received good quantity of arrivals, including fresh crops
334 and 1048 varieties were available after a long time and demand was good in all varieties. Arrivals were estimated around10000 bags at Warangal today.
