In Delhi, Canada-Madhya Pradesh origin new Masoor traded higher each by Rs 50-100 at Rs 7,100/100Kg, respectively.
New domestic Masoor moved higher by Rs 25-50/100Kg, as per quality at Orai, Lalitpur and Bareilly market on mills buying activities.
Vessel carrying around 14,000 MT Australia Masoor is expected to arrive at Kolkata port on 22nd or 23rd May 2022.
Trend : Low-level buying is likely to be seen due to selected mills' purchases to meet the immediate requirements for crushing. Millers and bulk buyers are active in purchasing new domestic Masoor due to less ready stock of imported Masoor. Local stockiest were sidelined and were purchasing only for trading purposes. New crop arrivals are likely to continue due to better yield this year. Meanwhile, the landed cost of imported Masoor from Canada is around Rs 7600/100Kg (at the prevailing CNF price of $960/MT).
