Mumbai, 27 Jun (Commoditiescontrol): Chana or chickpea prices traded unchanged in Delhi's Lawerence Raod market amid limited mill buying despite increased arrival, traders said.
Prevailing higher rates are also discouraging buyers from buying Chana.
The markets reported arrival 30 truckloads of supply arrived in the markets, on Monday, up from 15 truckloads in the previous session.
Meanwhile, demand in dal-besan was still subdued. Movement of Chana prices will depend on further buying support in dal-besan, traders said. They hope demand for besan to revive with the onset of monsoon season.
Rajasthan and M.P-origin Chana was offered at Rs 4,800/100kg and Rs 4,725/100kg, respectively.
As on June 27, 2022, NAFED has procured 14,13,932 MT of Chana at MSP of Rs 5,230 under PSS during the 2022 Rabi season. Maharashtra: 6,86,616 MT, Karnataka:73,863 MT, Gujarat: 5,58,622 MT, Andhra Pradesh: 71,840 MT and Uttar Pradesh: 22,991 MT.
FCI procured 73,692 MT of Chana at MSP of Rs 5,230 under PSS during the 2022 Rabi season.
