Mustard oil eases, seed and cake trades flat on subdued buying, higher arrivals

Jaipur, Aug 10 (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed and cake traded flat on Wednesday while mustard oil prices were down amid weak sentiment.

Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned were quoted flat at Rs 6950-6975 per quintal (excluding GST) in the market of Jaipur today.

Mustard oil expeller was offered Rs 2 down at at Rs 1380-1381 per 10kg and Kachhi Ghani also traded Rs 2 lower at Rs 1390-1391 per 10kg.

Mustard cake prices were flat at Rs 2650-2675 per quintal.

Arrivals of mustard seed were estimated 95000 bags in Rajasthan, 20000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 40000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 20000 bags in Haryana and Punjab, 5000 bags in Gujarat, and 45000 bags in other markets. Total arrivals across the country stayed around 2.25 lakh bags of 80 kg each, up 25000 bags from previous session.
