Moong traded mixed at Rajasthan; heavy arrivals seen at Karnataka

Mumbai, 16 Aug (Commoditiescontrol): Arrivals of new Kharif moong increased at select markets of Karnataka & Maharashtra. Quality contain moisture around 17-20% in Gadag-Bagalkot market of Karnataka.

Moong prices traded mixed at Rajasthan on limited mills buying as offtake in processed Moong reported thin.

Rajasthan Kharif pulses sowing increase 0.67% during 2022 season, as on 16th Aug, 2022. Area under Moong cultivation eased 2044.47 Thousand Hectares Vs 2049.92 Th Ha, down 0.27%, while that of Moth increased to 942.83 Th Ha Vs 835.34 Th HA, up 12.87%. Total Pulses sowing stood at 3,382.34 Th Ha Vs 3359.9 Th Ha, up 0.67%.
