Jodhpur, September 27 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices were firm in the physical markets and the futures as well on Tuesday.
Guar seed prices fell Rs 40 per quintal while guar gum prices dropped Rs 100 per quintal.
Guar seed prices were quoted at Rs 5100 per quintal in all paid. Old and new crop of guar seed was quoted at Rs 4100-4800 per quintal in auction. Arrivals of old crop were 3000 bags while new crop around 3930 bags.
Guar gum prices were quoted at Rs 9800 per quintal in the market of Jodhpur.
Guar gum futures for delivery in October on the NCDEX ended Rs 111 or 1.15 % up at Rs 9740 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 9550 and Rs 9778 respectively.
Guar seed futures for delivery in October ended Rs 42 or 0.64 higher at Rs 5025 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 4953 and Rs 5044 respectively.
