Jaipur, October 1 (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed prices stayed steady on Saturday while cake and oil prices declined due to weak cues from the international market. However, demand for mustard oil is regularly seen at retail counter and wholesale market.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned stayed steady at Rs 6275-6300 per quintal (excluding GST) in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices dropped Rs 5 to Rs 1248-1249 per 10kg and Kachchi Ghani was also quoted Rs 5 lower at Rs 1258-1259 per 10kg.
Mustard cake prices declined Rs 5 to Rs 2415-2420 per quintal.
Arrivals of mustard seed were estimated 85000 bags in Rajasthan, 10000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 30,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 10,000 bags in Haryana and Punjab, 5,000 bags in Gujarat, and 35,000 bags in other markets. Total arrivals across the country were around 1.75 lakh bags of 80 kg each, down 10,000 bags from last session.
