Jodhpur, Nov 16 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices rallied on Wednesday on strong sentiment amid buyers. The demand of guar gum for exports is reportedly very strong which bolstered buying sentiment. Guar gum hit a 6% upper circuit at the local bourse.
Guar seed prices rose Rs 300 per quintal while gum gained Rs 600 per quintal in the physical market today.
Guar gum prices were quoted at Rs 12000 per quintal while guar seed was priced at Rs 5650 per quintal in paid. Guar seed prices were quoted at Rs 5100-5650 per quintal at auctions. Arrivals were around 48000 bags of 100kg each.
Guar gum futures for delivery in December ended Rs 668 or 6% higher at Rs 11808 per quintal on the NCDEX while low and high of the session were Rs 11001 and Rs 11808 respectively.
Guar seed futures for delivery in December ended Rs 320 or 5.87% higher at Rs 5776 per quintal on the NCDEX while low and high of the session were Rs 5431 and Rs 5783 respectively.
