NEW DELHI, Nov 29 (Commoditiescontrol) : The Centre has decided to allow the exchange of 2.14 lakh tonnes (lt) of sugar export quota quantity from the quantity of monthly release quota.
The Food Ministry allowed on November 28 for the the exchange of 2.14 lakh tonnes of export quota as sought by 18 sugar mills, though these mills were together allotted over 2.88 lakh tonnes.
