Clove Prices Remain Stable in Key Markets

Mumbai, March 18 (CommoditiesControl): Clove prices have maintained stability in key markets, reflecting consistent trading patterns amidst various market dynamics.

In Kottayam, clove prices have remained steady within a specific range:
- Comoros origin: Rs. 860 to Rs. 870 per kilogram
- Madagascar origin: Rs. 860 to Rs. 880 per kilogram
- Sri Lanka origin: Rs. 890 to Rs. 920 per kilogram

Meanwhile, domestic clove prices in Kottayam have also reported stability, ranging from Rs. 950 to Rs. 980 per kilogram. However, market analysts suggest that the domestic market is experiencing pressure due to higher supply resulting from increased imports and decreased exports.

In Shimoga, prices have held firm in the range of Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1,020 per kilogram, matching the previous session's rates.

Additionally, clove stems in Kottayam have maintained their price level, remaining at Rs. 160 per kilogram, consistent with the previous session.
