New Delhi, March 28 (Commodities Control): On Thursday, the arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states across the country reached 67,300 bales, marking an increase from the previous trading day's figure of 59,200 bales.
Breaking down the total arrivals, Punjab and Haryana, along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan, contributed 5,000 bales to the overall figure. Gujarat recorded arrivals of 20,000 bales, while Maharashtra witnessed arrivals of 30,000 bales. Additionally, Madhya Pradesh saw arrivals of 3,000 bales, while Andhra Pradesh-Telangana collectively accounted for 5,000 bales. Furthermore, Tamil Nadu recorded arrivals of 300 bales, Karnataka witnessed arrivals of 4,000 bales, and no arrivals were reported in Odisha.
