Major Producing States Receive 41,900 Cotton Bales

New Delhi, April 13 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Saturday was 41,900 bales, whereas the arrival on the previous trading day was 47,400 bales.

Of the total arrivals, Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan accounted for 5,200 bales. 15,000 bales arrived in Gujarat, 15,000 bales in Maharashtra, 1,200 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 3,300 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 100 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 2,000 bales in Karnataka mandis and 100 bales in Odisha.
