Jaipur, 13 April (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed, oil and cake prices rose on Saturday amid improved buying. As per the traders, the processors and the stockiest are seen interested in increasing their stocks at lower level.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned gained Rs 25 to Rs 5,400-5425 per quintal kachchi (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices gained Rs 4 to Rs 1014-1015 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Rs 4 to 1024-1025 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices were rose Rs 15 to Rs 2535-2540 per quintal in Jaipur.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 7.25 lakh bags across the country. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 4.25 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 65,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 75,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 50000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 25,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 85,000 bags of mustard seed.
