Major Producing States Receive 47,900 Cotton Bales

New Delhi, April 16 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Tuesday was 47,900 bales, whereas the arrival on the previous trading day was 48,400 bales.

Of the total arrivals, 4,400 bales arrived in Upper and Lower Rajasthan along with Punjab and Haryana. 15,000 bales arrived in Gujarat, 20,000 bales in Maharashtra, 2,200 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 3,100 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 100 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 3,000 bales in Karnataka mandis and 100 bales in Odisha.
