Cotton Arrivals Total 37,000 Bales Across Major Producing States

New Delhi, April 24 (Commodities Control): Cotton arrivals in the markets of major producing states of the country on Wednesday totaled 37,000 bales, slightly lower than the 38,300 bales recorded on the previous trading day.

Out of the total arrivals, 2,400 bales were reported in Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan. Gujarat witnessed the arrival of 13,000 bales, while Maharashtra saw 15,000 bales. In Madhya Pradesh, 1,500 bales were received, while Andhra Pradesh-Telangana received 3,000 bales.

Additionally, Tamil Nadu received 100 bales, Karnataka markets saw 2,000 bales, and there were no arrivals reported in Odisha.
