Clove Prices Remain Stable Across Key Markets

Mumbai, April 24 (CommoditiesControl): Clove prices in key markets continued to hold steady. In Kottayam, imported clove rates maintained steady trend, with Comoros-origin cloves trading between Rs. 840 and Rs. 860 per kilogram, Madagascar cloves priced at Rs. 850 to Rs. 870, and Sri Lankan cloves commanding Rs. 850 to Rs. 880 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, domestic clove prices in Kottayam remained unchanged, ranging from Rs. 880 to Rs. 900 per kilogram over the past fortnight. The arrivals of higher import volumes has boosted the available supply, exerting a stabilizing influence on domestic market prices.

Similarly, in Shimoga, the price per kilogram for cloves remained consistent with the previous session, hovering between Rs. 900 and Rs. 920.

Additionally, clove stems maintained their pricing stability in Kottayam, retaining the rate of Rs. 125 per kilogram from the preceding session.

Overall, the clove market appears to be experiencing a period of relative calm, with prices maintaining a steady course across major trading centers.
