Jaipur, 29 April (Commoditiescontrol) : Mustard seed rose on Monday tracking firmness and its oil and cake. The processors and the stockiest were keen to increase their buying. As per the traders, mustard seed complex witnessed firm trend tracking positives cues from the international edible oil market.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned rose Rs 25 to Rs 5,425-5450 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices gained Rs 3 to Rs 997-998 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also rose Rs 3 to 1007-1008 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 2545-2550 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed gained Rs 50 to Rs 5200-5250 per quintal in the markets of Delhi. Mustard oil expeller also traded Rs 4 higher at Rs 995 per 10 kg in the markets of national capital. In the markets of Charkhi Dadri, prices of mustard seed were quoted Rs 25 higher at Rs 5150-5200 per quintal. Mustard oil expeller gained Rs 5 to trade at Rs 980 per 10kg and mustard cake prices rose Rs 5 to Rs 2480 per quintal in Charkhi Dadri.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 7 lakh bags across the country. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 4 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 70,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 80,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 35,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 25,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 90,000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were flat at Rs 883 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices were also flat at Rs 915 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 920 per 10 kg. Degum prices were quoted Rs 5 up at Rs 840 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices were steady at Rs 925 per 10 kg.
