Mumbai, 02 May 2024 (Commoditiescontrol):Kabuli prices in Madhya Pradesh's major mandis were reported to have stabilized after falling for two sessions. Prices were supported by strong demand at low levels. Furthermore, some demand from the Middle East supported large-caliber prices, which increased by Rs 100 per quintal. Smaller caliber prices were quoted stable.
Arrivals at Indore Mandi were reported at 5,000 bags, which remained stable from the previous session. Overall, arrivals in Madhya Pradesh's Kabuli growing belts were reported between 25,000-28,000 bags, lower by 2,000-3,000 bags in comparison to the previous session.
According to market sources, demand from stockists was reported to be low, while exporters expressed interest.According to trader marriage season will pause for next one month which may result in lower demand for small caliber Kabuli. On the other hand large caliber Kabuli price will depend on export demand .However due to steep competition in export market from Canada and Mexico due to better quality and comeptitive price price for large caliber kabuli are unlikely tor rise much from current level.
