Mumbai, May 10 CommoditiesControl: The groundnut (peanut) market experienced price stability today. Market analysts attribute this to steady demand for groundnut seeds. However, a decrease in demand for peanut cake has softened prices, currently at Rs 30,000 per ton. The industry anticipates the arrival of the new peanut crop.
Loose groundnut oil prices saw a slight increase of Rs 10 per 10 kg, trading in the range of Rs 1475-1485, with limited activity at these levels.
Gondal Mandi reported arrivals of 15,000-16,000 sacks, with approximately 2000-2500 sacks pending. Prices ranged from Rs 1241-1336 per 20 kg for average quality and Rs 1251-1371 per 20 kg for top quality.
