Jaipur, 2 April (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed complex turned bearish on Tuesday amid slow demand at higher level and increased arrivals. The processors and the stockiest are seen reluctant to increase their stocks at higher level, a trader said.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned dropped Rs 25 to Rs 5,525-5550 per quintal kachchi (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices dropped Rs 6 to Rs 1034-1035 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also fell Rs 6 to 1044-1045 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices fell Rs 10 to Rs 2535-2540 per quintal in Jaipur.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 7.25 lakh bags across the country, up 75000 bags from last session. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 4 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 75000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 85000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 70000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 25,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 70000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were quoted flat at Rs 941 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices gained Rs 10 to Rs 965 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices were flat at Rs 965 per 10 kg. Degum prices were rose Rs 15 to Rs 900 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices were quoted flat at Rs 970 per 10 kg.
