Jaipur, 14 April (Commoditiescontrol) Prices of mustard seed oil and, cake stayed steady amid slow demand and increased supply on Monday. However, most of the imported edible oils, except CPO, were quoted higher at Indian ports. As per the traders, demand from the stockiest and the processors for mustard seed slow as they were reluctant to increase their stock position at higher level.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned were flat at Rs 5,400-5425 per quintal kachchi (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices stayed steady at Rs 1014-1015 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also stayed steady at 1024-1025 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices gained Rs 10 to Rs 2545-2550 per quintal in Jaipur.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 8.50 lakh bags across the country. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 5 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 85,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 85,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 55,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 35,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 90,000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were quoted flat at Rs 943 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 965 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices also rose Rs 15 to Rs 960 per 10 kg. Degum prices were quoted Rs 5 higher at Rs 880 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices were quoted Rs 15 higher at Rs 960 per 10 kg.
