Mumbai, April 02 (Commodities Control): Due to arrivals being lower than expected, mills increased their buying, which led to a rise in Tur prices in Solapur Pulse Market. Moreover, mill quality chana prices also rose slightly during the opening session of trade.
The Pink variety new tur prices increased by Rs 100 to trade at Rs 10,800 per quintal. The market saw the arrival of 23 truckloads, while the arrival figure stood at 17 trucks on the previous trading day.
Turning to Chana, due to millers buying activity, mill-quality Chana prices surged slightly by Rs 50 to trade within the range of Rs 5,600 to Rs 5,800 per quintal. However, Annagiri Chana prices hold steady to quote in the range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 6,300 per quintal. Today, the market saw the arrival of 2 truckloads, matching the previous trading day arrival.
