Mumbai, April 02 (Commodities Control): Mumbai pulse market has witnessed increase in tur and matar prices this morning. However, urad, chana and masoor prices remained steady. Here are the updates from the market:
Pigeon Pea (Tur): Lemon tur prices hold steady to trade at Rs 10,350 per quintal. However, Matwara variety tur prices increased by Rs 100 to quote Rs 9,500 per quintal. Mozambique: Gajri quoted Rs 9,500 per quintal, with an increase of Rs 50. Mozambique: White prices went up by Rs 150 to quote Rs 9,800 per quintal. Sudan variety tur prices quoted Rs 10,700 per quintal, with an increase of Rs 100.
Pea (Matar): Russian Yellow, ex Mumbai port, prices surged slightly by Rs 25 to quote Rs 4050. Canada Yellow, ex Mumbai port, prices hold steady to quote Rs 4225 per quintal. Russian Yellow, ex Hajira port, prices quoted Rs 4050 per quintal, with an increase of Rs 25. Canada Yellow, ex Hajira port, prices went up by Rs 50 to quote Rs 4175 per quintal. Russian Yellow, ex Mundra port, quoted Rs 4050 per quintal, with slight surge of RS 25. Similarly, Canada Yellow, ex Mundra Port, surged slightly by Rs 25 to quote Rs 4150 per quintal.
Urad: FAQ Urad prices hold steady during the opening session of trade to quote Rs 9,100 per quintal.
Chickpea (Chana): The Sudan variety of Chana prices hold steady to quote Rs 6,500 per quintal. Similarly, Tanzania variety chana prices remained steady to quote Rs 5,550 per quintal.
Lentil (Masoor): The prices of Canada Masoor, ex Mundra port, hold steady to quote Rs 5,950 per quintal. Canada Masoor, ex Hajira port, prices quoted Rs 6,000 per quintal. Canada Crimson in containers remained consistent to quote Rs 6,150 per quintal. Australia Nipper in containers quoted Rs 5,850 per quintal, without any change in prices.
