Mumbai, April 08 (Commodities Control): Mumbai pulse market has witnessed increase in tur prices this morning. However, chana, urad and matar prices remained steady. Here are the updates from the market:
Pigeon Pea (Tur): Lemon tur prices surged by Rs 100 to trade at Rs 10,750 per quintal. Matwara variety tur prices went up by Rs 400 to quote Rs 10,200 per quintal. Mozambique: Gajri prices increased by Rs 300 to quote Rs 10,200 per quintal. Mozambique: White prices increased by Rs 350 to quote Rs 10,350 per quintal. Sudan variety tur prices went up by Rs 450 to quote Rs 11,350 per quintal.
Pea (Matar): Russian Yellow, ex Mumbai port, prices hold steady to quote Rs 4125. Canada Yellow, ex Mumbai port, prices decreased by Rs 50 to quote Rs 4250 per quintal. Russian Yellow, ex Hajira port, prices remain unchanged to quote Rs 4100/4125 per quintal. Canada Yellow, ex Hajira port, prices quoted Rs 4200/4225 per quintal, without any change in prices. Russian Yellow, ex Mundra port, showed stability to quote Rs 4100/4125. Similarly, Canada Yellow, ex Mundra Port, quoted Rs 4200/4225 per quintal.
Urad: FAQ Urad prices hold steady during the opening session of trade to quote Rs 9,300 per quintal.
Chickpea (Chana): The Sudan variety of Chana prices hold steady to quote Rs 6,500 per quintal. Similarly, Tanzania variety chana prices remain unchanged to quote Rs 5,600 per quintal.
Lentil (Masoor): The prices of Canada Masoor, ex Mundra port, declined by Rs 50 to quote Rs 5,975 per quintal. Canada Masoor, ex Hajira port, prices quoted Rs 6,025 per quintal, with a decline of Rs 50. Canada Crimson in containers prices hold steady to quote Rs 6,200 per quintal. Australia Nipper in containers quoted Rs 5,900 per quintal, without any change in prices.
