Major Producing States Receive 50,900 Cotton Bales

New Delhi, April 9 (Commodities Control) The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Tuesday was 50,900 bales, whereas the arrival on the previous trading day was 58,200 bales.

Of the total arrivals, 4,800 bales arrived in Upper and Lower Rajasthan of Punjab and Haryana. The arrival of 17,000 bales was recorded in Gujarat, 25,000 bales in Maharashtra, 0 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 0 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 0 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 4,000 bales in Karnataka mandis and 100 bales in Odisha.
