New Delhi, April 10 (Commodities Control): The arrival of cotton in the markets of major producing states of the country on Wednesday was 53,300 bales, whereas the arrival on the previous trading day was 50,900 bales.
Of the total arrivals, Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan accounted for 5,000 bales. 19,000 bales arrived in Gujarat, 25,000 bales in Maharashtra, 1,200 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 1,000 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 0 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 2,000 bales in Karnataka mandis and 100 bales in Odisha.
