New Delhi, April 12 (Commodities Control): The cotton markets across major producing states of the country witnessed arrival of 47,400 bales on Friday, marking a significant increase from the previous trading day's arrival of 41,400 bales.
Of the total arrivals, 4,900 bales arrived in Punjab and Haryana along with Upper and Lower Rajasthan. 16,000 bales arrived in Gujarat, 18,000 bales in Maharashtra, 1,800 bales in Madhya Pradesh and 4,500 bales in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana. Apart from this, 100 bales arrived in Tamil Nadu, 2,000 bales in Karnataka mandis and 100 bales in Odisha.
