India's Export Policy of De-Oiled Rice Bran Revised

MUMBAI, Jul 28 (Commoditiescontrol): In a significant development, India's Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry has announced an immediate amendment in the export policy of de-oiled rice bran. The modification, which moves the status of the commodity from 'Free' to 'Prohibited', is effective immediately and will last until 30th November 2023. The amendment, specifically listed as item 94 A under the ITC HS code 2306, is expected to have a notable impact on the dynamics of both the local and global vegetable oil sector.
