Weekly: Jeera Prices May Move Up On Export Demand

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - In NCDEX, August futures contract, cumin/jeera price on 01st July 2019 stood at INR 17,320 per quintal levels, which raised to INR 17,355 per quintal levels.

However, in the Unjha physical market, the modal price ranged between INR 154-155 per kg levels, almost remained steady as compared to previous week.

Export demand for Indian cumin is expected to be well in coming days which may raise the prices slightly upwards.

During the week, Unjha market received 34,000 bags of cumin.
