Nafed Procures 11736.94 Quintal Moong At MSP As On Sept 29

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Nafed bought 11736.94 quintals of moong from the states under minimum support buying programme as on September 29, according to Nafed.

Nafed procured these moong from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan.

Procurement in Akola and Beed market of Maharashtra was less due to higher moisture contents, said Nafed.

It further added that Nafed moong at few centres of Karnataka was not purchased on September 29 due to higher moisture contents.

Limited farmers coming at purchase centres in Rajasthan, some lots have higher percentage of damage moong, whereas in some market prices of FAQ stocks are ruling above MSP.
