Mumbai, 19 Sep (Commoditiescontrol):The National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation of India Limited (NCCF) has released an official tender notice inviting eligible suppliers to bid for the supply of Domestic and Imported Masur (Red Lentil).
Details of the Auction:
Mode of Tender Submission: Via e-Auction/Online Bidding on the NCDFI e-Market Portal.
Auction Schedule: Every Tuesday & Thursday starting from 21st September 2023.
Initial Auction Time: 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM
Extension Period: 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM
L-1 Matching Round: 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM
Purpose of Procurement:
The procurement initiative, intended for the Department of Consumer Affairs under the Government of India, aims at strengthening the PSF buffer with non-GMO Masur. Tenders will be held twice a week, and bidders must ensure timely submission of their bids with all essential documents.
Bid Specifications:
Commodity: DOMESTIC / IMPORTED MASUR (RED LENTIL)
Minimum Bid Quantity: 1000 MT with a margin of ± 02% (Additional quantities in multiple of 500 MT)
Quality Specification: The lentil stock must adhere to FSSAI specifications for unprocessed raw whole pulses with a moisture content not exceeding 14%. A comprehensive quality specification is available in Annexure-A.
Crop Year: For domestic, crop year R-2023 and for imported, stocks from 2022 onwards.
Country of Origin: Approved either as domestic or imported by the Department of Consumer Affairs.
Bid Validity: Two working days.
Delivery Period: Within 45 working days.
Delivery Instructions:
Suppliers are directed to deliver at designated Warehouse(s) such as CWC/SWC/WDRA accredited warehouse or SILOS. These should preferably be within a 100-kilometer radius from the port of import for imported stocks and in the procuring states of MP and UP for domestic stocks. If no warehouse is available within this radius, NCCF will specify an alternative location within the State.
Any additional transportation charges exceeding the designated radius will be reimbursed based on actual costs, adhering to the slab rate set by the respective State for food grain transportation.
The NCCF and the Department of Consumer Affairs hold the exclusive right to accept or decline any bids. They also maintain the authority to amend any clause in the tender documentation without prior notice.
Potential bidders are encouraged to review the full contract note carefully, sign it, and submit it to the concerned service provider before participating in the auction sessions.
